hot take but there's a really good chance expedition 33 doesn't get a lot of attention in the game awards, iirc generally they don't favour turn based RPGs with a few exceptions here and there and being real most of the attention I see it get is non RPG fans not liking it

The thing I hate about Heartbound the most is that its so clear that the only reason the game is in the genre that it is is so that it can capitalise on Undertale's success

I feel like there's a few upcoming games like Mewgenics and Blanksword that have the potential to really bring a lot of new life into the genre, sort of like modern day Spelunkys. 2/2

Being real, I still liked this season a lot, there were some great bits regardless but it wasn't on par with seasons 1 and 2 generally
If seasons 1 and 2 are S tier then season 3 I'll say is A+ teetering on S- (I mean I realise the idea of S- sounds ridiculous but it helps me express it clearer)

Charlie and Mr. Boss felt bit more assholish than usual in this season, not to an extent where its entirely ruined but to an extent where its a noticeable criticism for me.
