Guy's comically anti-Abrahamic for a practitioner of Abrahamic occultism (many such cases), and can come across new agey in the bad way, but he has an absolutely incredible personal story (seriously, Google Damien Echols if you don't know it) and this book

also veeeeery slowly starting to work through this absolute behemoth of a full curriculum in all things Western Esoteric Tradition. i may or may not do the initiations eventually, first I'm just going to study the damn thing and see if i really want to. (always recommended with grimoires)

Who doesn't love some good dick? I love some good (Philip K) Dick. Unfortunately this is more philosophical treatise than novel so the audiobook format isn't really ideal. I'm enjoying it, though.

Another reread! Not doing much with it rn in terms of applying the minimalist principles, but it's very feel-good for me and can be a bit inspirational. Also it's cute how hard the author stans Steve Jobs. He would KILL a man for talking badly about Steve Jobs.

Been slowly chipping away at this, it's my second read of it. I'm taking SUBSTANTIAL handwritten notes this time, since a lot of these ideas are really important to my developing practice.

ive been sort of gradually mentally working on it for about a year give or take, i finally wrote down the post-communion prayer ive been composing. i'm very pleased with it, i don't see much area for improvement tbh

i doubt i'll ever do too much with this, i think there's something to it but i particularly don't like the implication of calling certainly religions "low coherency", but after my interaction with @thecoalbaker.bsky.social i did some sketching tonight that i think is pretty good

it's more than doable for me with audio versions, which is giving me a great time to explore the CSB and NKJV, but i'm achieving it with time to spare every day, but it's a lot of hours every day
