Oh, no :( Is there any interview somewhere where you went into this, because now I’m so curious? Digging around, I found this bit from TV Tropes, but it doesn’t cite a source.
What Could Have Been: The original plan for the game was to include all of the countries in Oz, including Gilikin Country and Munchkin Country, but the game went over budget and those areas were cut. Word of God says that Munchkin Country would have featured an investigation into a monster attack on a misty farm (a la The Hound Of The Baskervilles), and Gilikin Country would have featured an old-fashioned murder mystery at a vacation resort.
