Scales and G2-6T next to each other, they were on display at an event from Saxxion College Enschede.

These are Scales and G2-6T, robots made entirely from scrap and wasted materials, to show, what you could do with a dose of creativity, wasted materials and time!
Some up close and personal? Images of Scales.

I call her Scales (yes her) why? Honestly? I heard that name from an animated short called Sintel the story is nice, but the name stuck with me. Her wings and chest are made from polycarbonate, which look like scales, so I found the name to be fitting

Fire breathing dragon?

Yes and no! I build a flamethrower of sorts, but also got a lot of issues with people regarding the danger. Which I agreed on. So I dropped the flamethrower thing.

But a 500mw blue laser module, a tube from her lower abdomen to her mouth and a smoke machine would do fine!

All three in a row, In the front Inquisitor droid, in the middle Scales and in the back G2-6T.

Both Scales and G2-6T were due for a makeover, old LED's that were failing needed to be upgraded, new effects were added, some new hidden features were installed and a new lighting scheme was added.

When Scales was build, there was always the idea to add LED lighting in her wings, but for years I could not find the time nor the energy to do so. But in 2023 all my bots were asked to put on display at the Dutch Design Week, it was the best time to make the wings light up!
