I think it's reductive to attribute support for Trump as being solely a product of the electorate being stupid. For 90% of MAGAs, supporting Trump is going to correlate deeply with their lifestyle and social circles, meaning they're socially incentivized to not give democrats the time of day
You do know they're not ever going to realize how stupid they were? They are going to say we didn't do a good enough job convincing them not to touch that stove.
