pixel artist, known mostly for drawing pretty girls. also the semi-secret identity of a (fairly boring) programmer | they/them | https://mastodon.art/@xvln | no commissions, no collabs (sorry!)
thank you!

it's really clever to use a different color for the lace checkerboard pattern and the floral pattern on top. allows for a lot of detail without making things hard to see / too noisy. (part of why i'm impressed with this is that i've tried to draw lace pixel art before and it didn't come out well)

huh, yeah, i see that now. the effect is really striking and pretty. i might try to use it at some point.

accidentally uploaded the unscaled version instead of the scaled 3x... no edit option on bsky means i guess it'll stay.

i use photoshop mostly, and sometimes touch up in aseprite. i wouldn't recommend photoshop to others, i've just used it for many years. (i would recommend aseprite otoh, although there are a lot of free options these days too)

thanks! it's one of the first drawings i did after a 4y+ art block. i think it leaves something to be desired (i don't like how i drew her hair), but it's still special to me because of that.
