the older i get the more i understand that life is decided by the top three things you’re prioritizing at any given moment. my current list:

1) be a good teacher
2) feed myself healthy foods
3) read lots of books

the most important writing tip i can give you? CHECK THE GRAMMAR YOU USE WITH YOUR DIALOGUE. so many writers get this wrong (a lot) and just... knowing it really helps. this graphic is a great resource and i share it a lot because it's so helpful—know when to do what!

just realized i’ve written essentially three new books while in college (and published one) and i’m STILL beating myself up mentally for “not doing enough”

i’ve been bingeing “younger” on netflix recently which is like the “emily in paris” of the publishing industry except it gets everything wrong about publishing. i still love it though and now i’m applying to editorial assistant jobs so watch me manifest this life for myself tbh
