The approximately 50-minute documentary “Blood Berries” reflects the serious issue of human trafficking enabled by collaboration between private companies and governments exploiting workers. The problem dates back over 20 years, and a large number of Isaan people have traveled to Finland and Sweden to harvest forest berries. The Thai Labor Confederation reported that more than 4,000 workers have fallen victim to human trafficking.

4 people who were at the Thalufah organised "Candle Procession to Drive Out Evil" protest against Prayut in 2021 have been convicted under the emergency decree law. Despite other similar cases under similar conditions being dismissed.

Soeharto being granted the title of National hero in Indonesia is a betrayal of all those killed by his regime. His actions & that of the forces under his control caused death & suffering all across Indonesia & beyond.

Whitewashing history by the gov't.

Seeking Justice & Accountability FOR WOMEN VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS OF CONFLICT-RELATED SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN BURMA/MYANMAR Since founded in 1999, the Women’s League of Burma (WLB) together with its member organizations have documented widespread and systematic crimes against women perpetrated by the Burmese military. Over the past four years since the military coup, member-led documentation by WLB exposes that cases of conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV), sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), and gender-based violence (GBV) have surged to more than 550 reported incidents with no justice and accountability. Given the pervasive fear, stigma, and barriers to reporting, the actual number of cases is believed to be significantly higher. Rape/sexual assault 356 of which, two women were killed. Trafficking for sexual 77 exploitation 56 Forced marriage Sexual torture/mutilation, Sexual 41 harassment, threats, humiliation Sexual Fraud/Sexual slavery/ 16 forced prostitution Forced pregnancy or 9 abortion 6 Other CONFLICT-RELATED SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN 2021 - 2025 550+ INCIDENTS DOCUMENTED Over 80% of documented incidents occurred in conflict-affected regions, including Sagaing, Shan, Kachin, Karenni, and Karen states. More than 50 detained women activists and political affiliates have reportedly been raped and sexually assaulted in prisons in Yangon, Mandalay, and Bago. A heat map shows where the cases they have documented are within the country with Sagaing region being highest followed by Shan & Karen states. The first man was tall and thin, threatened me with a long sword before raping me. The second man was short and dark-skinned, threatened me with a sword, raped me, and left saying another person would come. The third man had a pockmarked face and threatened me with a long gun before raping me. —A WOMAN WHO WAS VIOLENTLY GANG-RAPED BY MILITARY JUNTA FORCES IN SAGAING REGION ACCESS TO JUSTICE RECOMMENDATIONS Survivors of sexual and gender-based violence in Burma/Myanmar face almost no access to justice or essential care, as the military operates with total impunity. In conflict-affected areas, legal support and health services are limited, with clinics often inaccessible due to landmines, clashes, and military checkpoints. Despite limited resources, women’s organizations continue to risk their lives to deliver relief, protection, and support to survivors across the country. To the Donors Invest in vocational training and livelihood opportunities for survivors, enabling them to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to their communities; Facilitate the development of survivor centred transitional justice processes that prioritize the needs and experiences of women and marginalized groups; Support survivor referral pathways at local level through funding ethnic, local women-led organizations. To the United Nations Security Council Impose targeted economic sanctions, financial penalties, and travel restrictions against members of the military junta and their affiliates, including businesses owned or controlled by the Burma/ Myanmar military; Adopt and enforce a comprehensive, global arms embargo on Burma/Myanmar to halt the transfer of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment to the junta and its security forces; Refer the situation in Burma/ Myanmar to the International Criminal Court to investigate and prosecute those responsible for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and other grave violations of international law. To the International Community Support the calls of the people of Burma/ Myanmar urging the UN Security Council, the UN Human Rights Council, and all relevant UN human rights mechanisms, including the Independent Investigative Mechanism for Myanmar (IIMM), to take decisive and coordinated action against the military junta for its ongoing atrocities.

During his rule in the New Order era from 1966-1998, there were many cases of gross human rights violations for which there has never been Justice.

Bai Por had been found guilty in her 3rd Lèse-majesté case, bringing her total jail time to 8 years.
She was out on bail awaiting appeals process in other 2 cases. This time sentenced to 2 years, not suspended.
Another case of charge stacking by Thailand's authorities.

The AAPP numbers of those killed & detained in Myanmar by the Junta continue to rise. These are fully verified numbers which given the communications challenges means they are likely a significant underestimate.

Date – 27 October 2025 Since the 1 February 2021 coup, a total of 7416 people, including pro-democracy activists and civilians, have been killed by the junta and pro-military groups during the Spring Revolution. Since the coup, a total of 29,874 people have been arrested by the junta in relation to its seizure of power. 22,562 are currently in detention, (11,274) of whom are serving sentences.

To that I will respond with this horrific diagram... But given who was speaking (KNU) Both the MEC (Multi Ethnic Councils)'s "Bottom Up Federalism plan" & the NUCC's "Federal democratic Charter" I guess?
But there are a lot of groups that don't seem to be involved in either (and not on the diagram)

This morning the People's Amnesty Network and relatives of political detainees demonstrated at Thailand's Parliament building & submited a letter requesting that MPs vote to include all political charges, including Lèse-majesté, in the second reading vote today.
