Wouldn't this precedent mean the ICC can "bring in" US citizens, regardless of where they are?

In the memo Barr seems to insist, because international law isn't governed by the US Constitution, no contravention can occur. Direct quote: "An arrest that is inconsistent with international or foreign law does not violate the Fourth Amendment".

Basically, "Our laws always win"? Sounds.. creative.

To be serious, this could have beneficial blow-back similar to what we saw with Apple's "Section 3.3.1". That decision helped 'legitimize' Android, as it pushed a lot of development talent to alternative systems.

Eventually, Apple relented. Will Qualcomm? If they did, would we trust them, anyway?
