I'm reading "The Stand" for the first time. Crazy how that one hits. I mean, the competent government in the book methodically tried to cover it all up.
While the incompetent irl government just denied reality in the real life (luckily not as bad) pandemic...
I wonder which government's worse?

Thanks, that made me laugh :D

I'm currently reading "The Illustrated Man" by Ray Bradbury.

Duma Key is my favourite (of the ones I read), if you enjoy it half as much as I do you'll have a great time. Love "The Institute" as well, but it gets a bit slow at one point.
Haven't finished "Everything's Eventual", not into Mr. Kings short stories. And I only have that one in German.

I have a hard time with wire. Some days it goes well, others it's not working at all. I've not tried little hands like those...
I am busy with my makes, which are not realistic, but more "cutified".
"Valentines-couples" atm... I'm way too late to market them properly. But I'll do better next year.

Amazing craftsmenship!

Are you implying Biden would have won?
Because that is delusional.
He PROMISED in 2020 he would not run again. He broke that promise & then stayed in the race too long.
Harris was doing well until she started listening to Bidens people.
In the end Biden failed the people.
And the world pays for it.

It makes sense for public figures when tweets have been linked in articles so those don't break. Don't delete, just go, if that is the case.
Enough alternatives are out there to spend your time on and not lose all hope in humanity in the process.

I started learning from YT, now I give courses myself & am working on my own channel.
I watched a lot of people who are really good with wire-work.
But seeing people doing it and doing it yourself is a different beast.
It just doesn't come naturally to me, my strength lies elsewhere. And that's OK.

True!

Looking back at the two birds I have felted in my life, I think there's potential. I made those in 2021 and 2022.
Obviously none have legs :D
But maybe it's time to try ;)

Thank you!
I am a bit scared of trying birds and other animals with small "limbs" because I am not the best with wire. (some days it works like magic and other days it's tragic :D )

I hope you have a great 2025!
