I've covered *a lot* of shootings. To avoid contagion and celebrification, best practices have long been to avoid images and names.

Why have we all forgotten that?

I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc
