I find your lack of faith disturbing.

3-4-2-1. Some CBs that can play with the ball? Yes please.

For a lot of reasons I hope Lowen gets time on the field today. It’ll be interesting to watch Edelman and Durkin as dual 6s today.

So, you’re telling me he’s backing up Wallem…
January 27, 2026 at 9:43 PM
I might swap Lowen & Wallem. I’ve heard Lowen prefers to play the 6 and feels he’s best when he can read the whole field. He’s great wherever you play him, but I’d almost prefer Wallem’s intensity and speed with the ball near the box with Lowen playing line breaking thru balls all over the pitch.

That’s where the journey ends… I went to Pitt.

You’re shitting me
January 26, 2026 at 4:30 PM
Yes! We are massive. Im a Tottenham fan & I teach politics and law, so I’m really banking on City providing a fun distraction from… everything. Im not sure I can take another Spoon-worthy season from.
January 26, 2026 at 4:25 PM
Totally agree. Im hoping Mbacke can get to a lot of set piece balls being put in by Lowen and Santos, assuming he’s as good as I’ve heard from some folks that watched him play in CO and Orlando.
January 26, 2026 at 4:15 PM
My scouting network (Rapids fans on Bluesky) make me a little nervous with Santos as a LB proper. Sounds like his best attributes are going forwards so Im hoping for a back 3 with Wallem/Santos free to get higher up the pitch. This does disturb my prediction for Wallem as the next Max Afsten tho.
January 26, 2026 at 3:55 PM
Do you think the Santos move is for depth at LB/LWB or is he projected as a starter to free Wallem up for another spot?
January 26, 2026 at 3:45 PM
Starting Ren in the midfield instead of Leia is madness. What are we even doing here?
January 26, 2026 at 12:38 PM
Cool. Cool. Cool cool cool.
January 22, 2026 at 9:45 PM
Im seeing other folks list him as a midfielder, impressed with his defending & ability with the ball. Do you think he’s intended as a ball-playing CB by City? The thought of him at the 6 and Lowen’s giant self at the 8 would be a hilariously tall midfield presence.

I don’t know anymore. I love watching him play and the way he plays… but I don’t trust my eyes anymore. Everything is tainted by the low bar this team has set. I think he’s good and should stay, but is that just because he looks good on this roster? Would he start on a playoff team? That’s the goal

This would have seemed more principled if he’d said it a few weeks ago when Texas lawmakers had to flee the state to prevent the gerrymandering he’s so worried about now

Totland in the doghouse?
August 9, 2025 at 11:42 PM
If you would have told me the karmic price of us winning the West in our first year was (at least) two years of heartbreaking soccer… I think I still would have taken that deal because, by all rights, we should now be on 3 years of heartbreaking soccer.
July 27, 2025 at 10:29 PM
No he doesn’t. He couldn’t care less. He just doesn’t want us talking about a certain other story in the news that actually matters.

Woof.

Klauss, you stud.

Woof x3

I’m excited to see it—two 6s and two good ball-progressing outside backs (not to mention two good CBs with the ball at their feet.)

Guaranteed trophy for City in 2027. Him getting canned by my Spurs just makes it more of a sure thing that he’ll succeed elsewhere. It’s part of our curse.
