I went to Friterie Marsupilami in Bastogne yesterday. I've been driving past it for years but I finally had time to actually visit. Love the bus, even though it reminds me of Top Gears Quaint my ride.

The highlight of Beograd is probably the train to Bar. Pro tip: Do not go back to sleep after the border check at 4am and royally mess up your sleep for the next few days. The views are worth it.

There's a train station with a small railway museum attached. Unfortunately they cancelled all trains during the pandemic and they haven't returned.

Windhoek isn't that big for a capital city, only 270.000 people. It feels modern, and kind of reminded me of Sicily vibe-wise. The streets are cleaner here though. 🫣

Is it really a Finland trip if you're not flying a stupid route on a rare plane type? 👀 Last year I flew Turku - Mariehamn on a Fokker 50, today I'm flying Pori - Helsinki on a Embraer EMB 120!

I love the VR sleepers. Probably the best bed on the rails, and relatively cheap. We paid €75 for a double sleeper with ensuite bathroom. I managed to get 9h of sleep even.
