Clinton isn't at all relevant, he's just a convenient way for Trump to distract his cultists. I think it's kind of funny that Trump thinks that by distracting his cultists and going after Clinton he'll be in the clear.

This isn't a case of either/or.
Trump _also_ needs to be investigated and tried and convicted for any illegal things he did.
I _hope_ that in going after Trump the dam breaks and we convict _every_ guilty person, regardless of which party they are in. That's the whole point of releasing the files!

I was being glib. I don't support violence as a punishment.
However, I'm troubled to think of what a fitting path forward would be. How do we make the victim whole? How do we convey to the people who need to learn to do better just how egregious they were and what they need to learn to be better?

It's not a 180 if "not doing evil" was never the intended goal, but I think the mistake is in expecting any for profit corporation to do anything for the sake of not doing evil.
The only motivation of any for profit corporation can only be to maximize profit by any means.
