b/c the memory operation itself is clunky compared to a borrow. so seeing it visually nudges u to think abt that cost, makes it clear when u shld box or arc etc. when i was doing rust i found it helpful (only cuz perbformance mattered for th stuff i was working on tho)

does feel gross alot but in my understanding making it sorta clunky on the syntax level was on purpose

i wrote everything to be backend-agnostic too so theres also a basic twitter impl, u can cycle through different profiles smoothly (C-c C-n in the compose buffer). could also do masto but theres alr a package for mstdon that's impressively feature-complete even if very ugly for my tastes
