The 2nd movie is most familiar to me, as I've rewatched it most recently. Mostly for the future scenes of course (now TEN years ago??!)
But this time I actually watched them with the sound on, focused on them , and watched the 3rd movie for the first time since around the time it came out!

Hitscan weapon require aim, and more skill to land.
Projectile weapons you spam, due to travel distance you can never instantly hit the target in your crosshair. No aim and less skill
