If you've missed it, Ollama comes with built-in app similar to ChatGPT now, all running locally on your machine. This removes the need to install a separate GUI frontend like Open WebUI.

With local LLMs, you can use uncensored/ablated versions of your favorite models (need to install manually).

Silly Ubuntu errors, like not being able to continue installation when picking Ukraine/Kyiv time zone, are just unacceptable. Sluggish OS and app startup times, along with the promotion of infamous Blue Robot during the installation process? It’s a dealbreaker.

Using this term in contexts like AI overshadows people's agency in acquiring programming skills. Democratic power comes from YOU, not AI or anything else.
