Narrative Competency: The healing potential of storytelling
I stand outside the door, preparing to see my last patient on the general medicine ward. I am exhausted. I've seen twelve patients already, have yet to write a single note, and have two discharges I promised to finish ten minutes ago. It's hard to remember why I signed up for this.
