first they drove all the local mom & pop shops out of business with big box stores; then they drive all the big box stores out of business with private equity. next they’ll drive mail order out of business by killing the postal service. then we’ll be ready to take farm jobs again.
Friendly reminder that Joann Fabrics isn’t closing because it’s a bad business. It’s closing bc it was bought by a private equity firm. This is also what is happening to Hooters and what happened to US Toys R Us and Red Lobster. These companies are being dismantled intentionally.
