i think you'd want to do either 3" (18lb, still small enough to safely hand someone) or 5"+ (81lb+, heavy enough that it's hard to lift off a surface)

i'm moving right now and cursed myself as i added my 1kg W cube to an already heavy box. something about a cube so heavy it basically needs its own entire box is delightful

I know you love technology, but have you tried drawing your layout on a piece of paper, cutting out bits of furniture to scale out of card, and arranging them that way? I did a laboratory layout this way once, despite having access to actual CAD software, and it felt decent.
