As much as I love that with my heart, I feel like Trump has really brought out the ugly underbelly of our country that I don't think wants to live in the shadows any longer.

Unfortunately any way it went it would have pissed people off.

Lose/lose situation, if they blocked it then unessential people would be sent home and the White House determines who is essential. Better to let it go than to get everyone upset at the Dems unfortunately.
