I think we have to remember, if they are forced to pause/stop for any reason, they lose.
Their method is continual distraction, the next outrage, the next scandal.
If they stop and people ask real questions, they lose.

So after Janine "box of wine" Pierrot says it's fine to carry long guns and shotguns and it won't be prosecuted I'm guessing it'll be fine for protestors to carry them too??
