You hit it right on the head several times Doc, I’ve been skeptical of Tramal for those reasons and pacing myself with Pregabalin as well. Doctors are very conservative in Austria and will *never* step outside lower tier insurance. I’m out of options and reached bottom with what they call…

That’s exactly my experience and I’m in Austria. After the antiviral I got NovAkut, Pregabalin and Tramal, plus both Lidocaine and Capsaisacin patches. It’s been half a year and I’m still hurting ~20 hours a day.
