Not sure if I quite follow. Does this mean that the SDNY is indirectly putting the DOJ on notice that they have the “originals” so to speak, so the DOJ can’t f around and bury these? Or do the bulk of the Epstein docs come from SDNY anyway, so this shows SDNY’s reluctance to comply unless forced?
