Lastly just a random show in of Cyclops' father in Ceaser an essentially space cowboy to my understanding, who helped the X-Men in a small journey to space briefly.

Nightcrawler in issue 103 of uncanny X-Men apparently has the ability to become invisible if he steps into shadow?!? Is that normal/come up regularly because it was news to me. Plus another panel of Storm using 'control of the weather' TO CHANGE HER OUTFIT, crazy.

This ends with her stating her love for Scott and a very said meek, "I don't want to die." Which really just ate me alive inside. It is a really strong start to one of the X-Men's most famous storylines.

She became a much more caring force on the team and in the moments leading up to her taking on the cosmic radiation to save the rest of the team you can see the regret at the decision she has to make. All these times since she was a kid of being forced to make the right decision has weighed on her.

I think Jean has had a rough run so far with her characterization, but honestly since Chris Claremont took over authorship she has felt much more consistent. She went from a character that felt like her inclusion was just to have a prominent female character on the team to a person in her own right.

Also the beginning of Logan 'flirting' with Jean. It is a very one way street at the moment and a little forced. Plus I was never a fan of calling someone with red hair, 'red' for short. Always rubbed me the wrong way

Okay there is more Charles tripping mad on his fishing trip vay-cay is hysterical! All of the mutants fighting for the life just to hard cut to that. Kinda peak

I find his struggle between being a good leader, being a friend and taking care of his own needs incredibly relatable and I can see how he is soon to become the golden boy. Just makes me worry as I know things can't stay good. Plus all this good chemistry on screen gets busted by sentinels, yippee.

Honestly it still so depends on the run because these classic issues establish a president for her character of being weak and dependent. However every now and then she'll get her moment to shine. Though it's mostly when they need a replacement for Magneto.

So yeah what a huge L Polaris continues to just get written off by the writers. And I say off and not out because she is powerful and is capable but they keep forcing her into the damsel in distress role. It's a shame for such an interesting character who has a conflict with her own sence of self.
