A few were scared, but everybody said it was amazing!

It's my first year in a house, and being able to give out candy in over a decade. So we went ALL OUT decorating our garage.
Halloween has always been really special to me; a night where you can escape your awkward human shell and be whatever you want

Finished up about an hour ago. Got maybe 2 dozen trick-or-treaters scattered between 6-9pm.
But it was really nice! First time being able to give out candy in over a decade.

A description of autumn in The Library
Autumn in the Library Stepping through The Library Door feels like coming home. As cold as it may be outside, an equal pleasurable warmth greets you. The pillars are now wrapped in pumpkin vines, and the walls take the colors of leaves; hues of yellows, oranges, and browns. The images in the frames along the entry hall grow more sinister, to befit the coming of Samhain. Sweet candy smells emanate from the fireplaces; chocolate, cinnamon, and caramel wafting in the air, along with the scent of allspice. The Archivist keeps a cauldron of candy on the counter, for any who desire. The Library Shelves playfully mold to the pattern of corn mazes. All are encouraged to dress up. Even the library spirits, normally wisps of light, take the shapes of harmless bats, rats, and cats made of black light. Or even jack-o-lanterns hanging in the air.
