I distinctly recall a paper in high school I turned in where my teacher questioned the date at the top ("You're supposed to put the date you started writing it, not the date it was due!" "I did.")

they may have changed the format at some point, I think it used to be if you looked at the url of your avatar it was "username_##.jpg" or whatever and you would just change the number to see what your previous ones were, but that doesn't seem to work anymore (at least for my current one)
