Yeeeeep! I am right there with you. My brain goes "but why" a lot. So reinforcing with self-care at the center of it all is wonderful. You act with intention to love the self, not to spend time in ways you dont want to!

YES! A great rule of thumb I follow as well is, if you see a task and it takes 5 minutes or less to do, do it now.

Its small things, but makes a huge impact in the grand scheme!

To add, once you've secured that self-care reasoning, add a fun twist! Music, talking on phone, etc. Time flies when you're having fun, and so do tedious tasks!

Know when to take breaks, listen to your gut. Just remember that you deserve to be at peace, so get back to it soon!

Find the self-care reasoning, and reinforce w/ fun, in tedious tasks.

You aren't doing dishes because you have to, you're doing dishes because you deserve to eat off of clean plates, and to enjoy cooking!

Apply to any "daily chore". Laundry for self expression, house cleaning for peace/relaxation.

Today I will be working on setting up datastores, and I will be reworking the gathering service I have been writing. Lets see how this goes!

Taking another approach and really planning out my features before I commit to them! Before I took an approach to explore what features were out there by diving straight in, aka "code a project", but this has led to feeling astray and has reinforced why planning is key!

Thank you!

This journey has felt like tug-o-war. You get pulled ahead, only to realize how much you need to learn.. so you get pulled the other direction for a while, then repeat!

Coding has forced me to look within myself and how I approach problem solving a lot. Its so frustrating having ideas, design, etc experience that is locked behind understanding these basic coding concepts.

Tonight was a rough one. Feels like I have been taking more L's than W's in learning coding.

Another day of code! This time I was transferring my gathering system to the server due to some networking issues/communication between server and client.

Unfortunately I kept running into really frustrating problems that I didn't know how to overcome. So I had to stop tonight.
