Right... Taxes are already low on groceries. And I'm sure there's ample evidence that if taxes were reduced, that grocers would not increase prices to cover the difference and generate more profits, right? Right?

I believe there is already a path to certification based on your country of origin. The issue is that it can take years in some cases, and people simply cannot afford to not work for that amount of time. As such, they find the work they can.

Canadian here, but I always thought it should be country over party. If Democrats are in the way of rolling back harm done by MAGA, then other Democrats should definitely look to move forward without them.

In all transparency, I'm Canadian. But I have a lot of friends in the US, and I do hot to see you guys figure it out. Especially since all of this has a huge impact on us up North.

The issue is that the province don't want to see this change. I seem to remember the provinces saying they need more than the CHT provides, but don't want to allow Ottawa any say in how the money is spent given it's under provincial jurisdiction.
