wouldnt that make it LESS likely to be functional? considering late drivers etc.; i recall hearing 4090 didnt work on Linux for a while when it came out
also fwiw i had the same experient with a 3070, maybe i just have good linux luck (plenty of evidence to support that)

in true linux fashion - i havent had any trouble on my end, even with wayland lol

isnt nvidia pretty usable on linux these days? i've been using a 4070 and i havent run into any major problems (unless i actively cause them)
