Anyway, this is just a little ramble. I was listening to the song, and it put me back in that place and I just want to work at making music, learn how to produce it myself so I'll never be in that position ever again of having my art hidden away. So that -I- can control my art fully.

I still have a notebook full of lyrics. While it's upsetting to think that someone's emotions in a moment killed what could've been something beautiful, in reality, those things never did die. I still have them, and I'll make them someday. Maybe that's what the next little hobby I pick up will be!

When he and I worked together, I sang so many little "sketches" of songs. Sometimes I listen to them, and I hear what they could become, what I wanted them to be. And I just want to pour myself into them again and make them real, make them breathe!

BUT as much as it hurt me to have that project be shat upon and to have it tucked under a bush like that, I truly was proud of what I made. It was a bucket list thing. And it was very creatively satisfying! If anything, it let me know it's something I want to try again.
