[Garden Troubles]

(I originally made this into two separate parts but I decided to put scripts over them and condense. Its still one of my favorites I've made XD )

Asbel who is tending to the gardens on the island Tataru gave him. He spots something unusual in the soils and is shocked to see what looks like a vegetable running up to him

He falls backwards, a little surprised and realizes that there are so many more.

hearing the commotion, Lantis came to see what was going on only to see that the vegetables have made friends with his spouse

However, he sees food not friends. To which Asbel scolds him cause they are not food.

Two Elezens are seen in the cold together. One is crying (left) and the other is holding his hand and cheek (Right)

(This was an HC AU about their son being born thanks to a couple of Fantasias that were gifted by Minfillia. )

He doesn't know how it happened, or how his sisters did it. But some way, some how he made it to the past. And here he stood, face to face with one of his fathers. Elias had all sorts of words he wanted to say to him, to them. But the way his father before him was looking at him...it was filled with love. With adoration.

"My. How you've grown, Eli..." Asbel spoke as he approached the Elezen before him.

The boy stood there. He wanted to tell him that he hated him. Hated him and his other father for leaving him alone. Hated both of them for abandoning him when he was but a child yet gave his sisters an opportunity to know them...And yet...he couldn't find the words to say that. No, Elias no longer harbored the hatred he held for years. Rather he felt relieved, sorrow and joy. His sisters were right. They were always right. His fathers would never abandon him...and it was unfortunate they did in his time.

Elias clenched his hand, curling his fingers into a fist and held his head. A hand gently patted his head. He looked up. There he was, one of his fathers right before him, patting his head and giving him the kindest smile he imagined Asbel to have. "I'm sorry. You did well."

Just those simple words were what he needed to hear. Tears streamed down his cheek and he hung his head once more. "I..I-I..!" The boy began, holding his chest as he tried to find the right words. "I...I missed you, dad...I missed you both..."

(This Elias comes from a future in which both Asbel+Lantis died at the end of base Endwalker. So he never got a chance to meet them. Lyre and Lethe gave him an opportunity to return to the past and find them.)

Two Elezens are standing in front of a stove. The female, Cosette is giving instructions on how to make a simple sandwich. She instructs Asbel to flip the sandwich. "Good! Just like that!" She says. "D-does it need to be flipped again?" Asked Asbel.

She shakes her head "No, this will be just fine" While Asbel's attention is on the sandwich, Cosette looks to her side and notices someone. "I'll be right back. You can remove it in a few" and sees herself out.

Asbel stands there holding the spatula. He's a little distressed as he observes the sandwich that is still cooking. "This should be fine, right? O-or perhaps I should wait a bit longer?" He looks down, a little sad "I-I don't know what I'm doing...Maybe I shouldn't have bothe-"

Interrupted by a sudden appearance. "That's going to burn"

Asbel swifly turns his attention to the figure next to him. It was his boyfriend, Lantis. "Huh?!" He exclaims, extremely surprised to see him home already. "If you leave it any longer, it won't be good"

While his attention was on Lantis, he completely forgot about the sandwich. "It's burning"

"AH!!"

(Really sat on this one again for a bit since its a bit 'darker' but its part of my main storyline with Asbel. Takes place after The Vault)

After finding Asbel in the snow, Lantis brought him back to his home. He's been locked in Lantis's room since they arrived. The texts on image read "Anything?"

Esme, his little sister comes downstairs to tell them that they have guests. Cosette, his mother is shocked to know who is here. Texts on image read

"U-Um...Mama? brother?"
"What is it, sweetheart?"
"Ser Estinien and Alphinaud are here. They're looking for Asbel"

Alphinaud and Estinien invite themselves in. Lantis is not happy about it. Texts on image read

"Pardon the intrusion. But it is a rather urgent matter."
"I am aware that this is not a good time. But we need him..."

They discuss in detail about going after Thordon. Lantis really isn't happy about it. Texts on image read

"If we are to give chase, then he must come with us."
