I think pay to edit, but with a timer, edit flag, maybe a rollback if you click, is probably ok. Lots of people would just like to get rid of typos.

Well, the idea is for a lot more than Bsky. But say not mandatory, but gets you an edit button, longer word count, some other benefits. I mean, I could see pay for delete becoming a kind of gatcha game. Good for the company, maybe not for users.

There needs to be a way to spend small amounts on the internet in a largely frictionless way.*
Why not just pay FOR Bsky? You go to a store, there's almost nothing there that doesn't have a price on it. Yet we expect to pay nothing for things we do for hours.

I think it'll probably stabilize somewhat. Crime and tax evasion need one untraceable currency, not a bunch of them. So that'll keep it stronger.

There are accents I dislike, but coming from a place where the accent is typically used to signal ignorance, I have a lot of sympathy for most.
I lived overseas (English speaking country) and am good with accents, it was interesting to see the changes when I did a posh local accent.
