Amazing just how throwing the existing gameplay in an Environment pack makes it go from looking like a 2-week prototype to something that will launch in 2 weeks.

Animating this sinawali and getting it to work as expected in game was so very satisfying.

Picking up drops the current weapon now. None of these other guns shoot yet though, but it feels good to throw them around.

Still need to fix the feet alignment on the floor normals, but I think the turn-in-place is decent enough for what I need to do.

This tracks. I've tried Super People and First Descendant before. It does feel like that there's an unwritten rule amongst Korean game developers that players shouldn't be allowed to stray far from their culture's ideal beauty standard.

First time animator! Blocking out my reload animation. Will need to fix the timings and add some secondary movement, but I think the general feel is ok.

Still no idea if I can layer nondestructively with Control Rig. I'll have to look into that. 🤓

Finally tried making a full body Control Rig from scratch to learn its quirks. Baked the Mixamo Pistol Idle onto the Control Rig in Sequencer so I could make my own firing animation

(They don't seem to have one for their pistol set for some reason?)
