tldr this is potentially a HUGE privacy issue, especially for anyone who has ever sent any image via discord that they wouldn't want publicly distributed

It's possible the image won't be accessed unless someone actually hits the little button, but a) there is literally no way to prevent other people from doing that, and b) I just flat out don't trust these apps to not access things that are available to them in some way

Nope, tried it in a private server and it still shows the little icon to edit and send with AI apps. I strongly suspect this also means that these apps can just access any image in any server, regardless of privacy settings

Agh, damn, I was hoping this was a barrier against its use directly in the server. Still ways to bypass it admittedly even if that were true, but... bleugh, can't have nice things.

Yeah, the problem with this is it doesn't actually stop the ai use from happening, just prevents it from being reshared in the server. Which is still important, but doesn't address the main issue of having the AI tool available at all.
