And at some point during the night while searching for the third cog or making her way back to the waterfall to do the cog puzzle, she hears stomping, the ground rumbles, she's surrounded by dense forest and ruin. Then out of the dark comes Rex for the final showdown.

Additionally, to give a nod to the OG's dark sky box, give the level a sense of time progression as you explore for the cogs. Have Lara maybe settle down somewhere after she's been wounded by Rexy or something, fix herself up, but it's now night time.

I thought this too. Tbh I don't think it's going to be at all referenced any further or be considered canon in current Lara's story sadly. Just a small nod to TR4

I've not finished many this year. But am aiming to finish Witcher 3 by the end of the year, or probably early next year with the expansions. And Dragon Quest 3 so I can play 1&2 remastered and then 7

To be honest, it's confirmed to me that Underworld is my favourite of the trilogy. I really hope we get a remaster of that, or at least a port of it (the good version, not PS2)

Particularly the gameplay. The combat and traversal feel even worse to me than the modern controls in the remasters, make me even more frustrated 😬

It's weird, because I LOVED both of those games growing up. Bit having replayed them recently, they just don't feel the same as they did back then. The issues for some reason seem more evident to me now. I still appreciate them and play them happily, but there's so much that bugs me
