We don't need to just vote in the midterms. We all need to get off our butts and vote in the primaries to get better candidates on the left. We need to focus on getting more progressive people than your standard business as usual. We need people on the left side of politics; global left not the US

Unfortunately I no longer believe that there will be another true round of voting. We may have a vote but it will be so skewed as to be irrelevant. The system is too far gone for elections to correct.

I believe you're incorrect. This is actually a one-party political system that is masquerading as a two-party system.There is a study that shows that Congress votes with the corporations and special interests regardless of party.

Just to be clear I think that the left is guilty of the same thing. They've been trying to pit us against each other but perhaps now we are finally starting to see the class War and hopefully redirecting that misplaced or at least somewhat misplaced hatred

I'm not sure I could confirm that China is bad. The US propaganda machine is huge. I've never been to China and I really don't think you can get to know a place without living there. China is becoming more US-like.
