I got a wild hair and decided to bake muffins to help alleviate the pain of waking up at oh-dark-thirty for school tomorrow, after weeks of sleeping in for the holidays. They smell great! I used butter instead of coconut oil, and I dusted the tops with turbinado sugar.

I started a good book last night. Pearl by Sian Hughes. (I tried and failed to add the accent on the A.) Three chapters in, and I am certain this will be among my favorites.

It's a pretty nerdy milestone, but yesterday was the 25th anniversary of my first domain registration! I bought it for myself as an early birthday present. If I remember correctly, I had to go through my ISP to do it. To change settings at the registrar, Network Solutions, I would fax them. /1
