I don't care why they are joining as long as they are abandoning the current Republican party. We can't have honest discussions about policy with people & get them to make the change if we are calling the people they may like annoying & stating their views are a disqualifier in liberal spaces.

You said "it should be a total disqualifier in liberal spaces". You also said you don't listen to his podcast & are relying on old posts & a prior campaign he participated in. If the Rs ever shift back to being more moderate, I will welcome it & anyone who didn't go along with this nightmare.

If you totally disqualify anyone who ever previously held a different political opinion than you deem acceptable in liberal spaces, your space is going to be pretty small. What a close-minded view based on your admittedly uninformed opinion of someone that does nothing to serve the liberal agenda.

He says otherwise all the time. He has always been against Trump and has shifted some of his views, while not all of them. If you read his book and follow his daily podcast over at the Bulwark, you'd know that.

I hear that. I guess everyone's experience is different depending on what order they tackle the story in. Maybe I lucked out in that. I didn't quite know the ending before I had finished. Either way, for me it was satisfying but I understand your take.
