recovered what is in my opinion the most landmark article about magic the gathering and maybe the most prescient thing ever written about the burgeoning "pro scene" for gaming as a whole and the arc most players (including hacker himself) would travel from magic -> poker.

listening to chapin on a recent resleevables ep & he said, "I'm a bit of a Submerge sympathizer, it's a little too powerful... & it's not great how it steps on literally the people playing green creatures... But that IS what it does" and somehow that really let me look at it different lol. hes right

It's been so fun to get back into Destiny 2, catching up on alot of new stuff. Sometimes I feel like it's one of the few FPS games that really understands the genre and is willing to push in random directions. I love nothing more than a shooter that leads to me making this image while playing.

Stafford was so unbelievably good at summing things up in this way. I consider myself to be pretty far on the skeptical side of things but even I read something like this and i'm immediately onboard.
