Of course! As you guessed, a lot of the time, models will come with a flat base texture as much of the modelling process requires a texture to figure out certain shapes. It also does a great job at communicating the modellers vision

Just wanted to clarify; I was the texture artist for these assets, not the modeller (Besides Mando, he's mine). They were super fun to work on.
