Don't let corporation boycott cause third party damage to the people you've wanted to support to begin with and find how you can support artists while making sure the artists start getting the majority cut for their work, not exploitative CEOs.

Remember that sellers cannot take sales off platform by their Tos, so you taking initiative to support them directly is a major help and truly the golden step to supporting them fully. 🧵

When possible, buy from the artist's own websites or commission them through social media they link on their Etsy shop. Etsy looses all the money when you use their searches but never purchase on their platform.

Etsy is a search engine and helps artists who do not have the money, time, knowledge, ability, and audience to build an online shop front that they own and can promote. However, I would agree that Etsy as a company is vile. What to do? 🧵
