Considering 2 slots were wasted on joke characters and then the final character is a complete redesign (went from rough and rugged ninja with busted up clothes to sleek new clothing and looking like a child) it's warranted.

Never played the original but the PS2 remake (Dark Legacy). Is one of my favorite gaming memories my dad would come home from work on Friday and sit and play it with me for a bit every week.

You're crazy if you think Miyazaki is a nazi. He has at least 2 films that are explicitly anti nazi and he's anti war in general. The guy is genuinely obsessed with engineering though and I'm sure drawing a German tank is more of a cool factor in his head than anything.

Surprised at the number of people saying the anime is better. The manga has some filler but things like the trial and showing a bit more of Kusangi's personal life and how dystopian things are are handled much better in the manga and by the end there's almost an anti police stance.

To be honest I love stuff like this it's a way for fans to keep a series alive when the company that owns them isn't making new games. Not that you couldn't have homebrewed it before but for the less adventurous or inexperienced group it's great to just have it all in one book.

Super hyped for Assemble, genuinely can't wait to build an army of Zakus.

I have never been in a single meeting that couldn't be remote. Every time someone tries the generic hr speak response of in person collaboration they're either trying to justify their job or are miserable and want others to be too.

truly don't think I can describe how great this book is on first read without spoiling something or going far over one post. However it's one of those books that has so many layers and interpretations to it that it's worth reading at least once in your life.

Oh wow wasn't aware he worked on Hashire Melos I just watched a while back and thought it was pretty good. Glad to see people are still remembering him as well.

Not a huge fan of the GQuuuuuuX art style from what was shown in the trailer, hoping it ends up being good regardless.
