If ‘ok alanis’ is your comeback, I’ll take it as a white flag. Don’t worry, surrender accepted ✌️😂

People don’t have anything worth saying’… says the person using their post to say nothing worth saying. Irony really does write itself 📜😂

Imagine reading a post about character limits and somehow deciding it’s a US election rally. That’s not political engagement, that’s just a wiring error. Hope you get your circuits checked soon 🔧🤖.

Not everything - just enough to know when someone’s serving sarcasm instead of substance. 🎯
August 12, 2025 at 9:14 AM
No one knows everything - but knowing enough to spot fake from real isn’t asking for omniscience, just a working brain. 🎯
August 12, 2025 at 9:08 AM
Sure, ignorance can feel cozy - so can hiding under a blanket during a storm. But comfort isn’t the same as truth, and pretending the steak is real doesn’t make it nourish you. Cypher didn’t win anything; he just sold his agency for a nap in the Matrix. 🥩💊

Some treat AI like a cultural apocalypse, forgetting every medium - painting, photos, film, CGI - was once “soulless.” Paper’s lied for centuries. Effort’s noble, but art’s not just sweat. If fake kills your joy for real, that’s perspective. Truth’s saved by sharp minds, not banning tools. 📚🎯

Ban “lies” and power decides the truth. Paper won’t save us - sharp minds will. 📚🧠
August 12, 2025 at 8:50 AM
AI doesn’t kill stop-motion. Sweat isn’t the only metric for art - beauty isn’t invalid if it’s born fast. 🎯
August 12, 2025 at 8:48 AM
Paper books can lie too - history is full of printed nonsense. The medium doesn’t guarantee truth; critical thinking does. AI labels won’t save us if we can’t tell fact from fiction ourselves. The solution isn’t “back to paper,” it’s forward to better brains. 📚💡

AI pics aren’t the problem - low media literacy is. Beauty’s beauty, whether it’s from sunlight or silicon. 🎯
August 12, 2025 at 8:44 AM
Enjoying beauty isn’t childish. Mocking it is. Wonder builds minds - cynicism just shrinks them. 🎯
August 12, 2025 at 8:42 AM
AI being “soulless” doesn’t make real life less beautiful cameras didn’t kill sunsets, Pixar didn’t kill puppies. If a fake kitten robs you of joy from a real one, the issue isn’t the AI’s soul… it’s yours. 🐱💥

Totally get that you like short reads, I like having the option for depth. Expanding the limit wouldn’t turn Bluesky into LinkedIn overnight… it’d just mean the “all story” could sometimes fit in one post instead of a scavenger hunt.

What about text based post's?

Bluesky’s 300-character limit is great for memes and hot takes-
But it’s a real barrier for thoughtful posts, nuanced discussions, or sharing important ideas.
Even 500 or 800 characters would make a big difference.
Please consider expanding this. 🙏
