After several months a new version of my OC ref is ready. Work on this started sometime in late April and actual ref drawing in August. It's a first time I put this much effort and thought into a single project and it has been a journey.

After several months a new version of my OC ref is ready. Work on this started sometime in late April and actual ref drawing in August. It's a first time I put this much effort and thought into a single project and it has been a journey.

After a few months of working on redesigning my OC I am finally done with it and wanted to celebrate by making illustration with use of a new design and I can say that I am happy with the results, especially not having worked on any complex scene in all too long.

I haven't been sharing a lot of art recently but I'm still alive over here unlike my laptop which died yesterday, so have WIP of OC ref remake as it currently stands since it may or may not be stuck on this stage for some time 🤷♂️

I made a mistake of continuing to reiterate instead of just going straight to drawing a ref after ArtFight and now this overcomplicated head design lives rent free in my head 🫠

I also tried krita's recording feature and it's working very nicely while filtering out all pondering time spent on this in between brush strokes (which honestly takes more than drawing itself).

Even more fanart portraits. Silver Dragon from Dungeons & Dragons (2024 overhaul). I did take some liberties particularly around muzzle/nostrils area and there seems to be a bit of a shortage of frontal references but I made it work out in the end I think. #art

I usually don't post WIPs but with how slow things are moving lately I guess it doesn't hurt every now and then. A bit of fanarts/portraits practice in progress.
