More corporate thieves. Great.

Just found out about this today, and pulled all my books from Kindle. My eBooks are still available via Apple Books and Kobo (for now), and direct via my website.

Seriously weighing the pros and cons of eBook distribution at all in the age of AI.

I'm starting to get to the point where I have a lot of story plot points floating in my head, that I should be writing them down.

It will be beneficial for when the time comes to organize and structure them before writing.

I made a game about triangles and other shapes. Feel free to check it out.

It's been too long since I last sat down and worked on a lengthy piece of writing.

My game has taken priority lately but it's taking longer to get out the door than what I originally wanted.

The Living Threeangle now has a Steam store page!
Sharing as well as adding to your wishlist are both greatly appreciated.

Questions for authors who published at least one book in a planned series:

After the the first one is released, is there a set amount of time you take a break before jumping into the next one for that series?

Do you prefer to work on a project unrelated to that series then jump back later?

only just today did it become a requirement for Oscars voters to *actually watch all of the nominated movies* in order to cast a vote. a rule that probably shouldve been there 96 years ago

I now need help gathering more terminology people use...

A) What do you call the attached area to the front of the house, where the front door is?

B) What do you call the space immediately inside the front door?

I have reached another game development crossroads...

A) Find a free pre-made system that handles achievement progress for me so that I can spend dev time working on other things. I'll just need to credit those who worked on it.

B) Build an entire achievement system from scratch.

I want my triangle game to have full 5.1 music support. This is the current progress.

One layer, one channel complete.

There will be five layers spread across the six channels.

I made my triangle game competitive.

It keeps track of time spent on each level.

And there will be achievements.

It looks like I reached the point where I design a final boss battle...

I've never made it this far on game development progress before.

Are you familiar with Minecraft polyworlds? If not, then this video is a great resource for learning about them!

Even if you are familiar, perhaps it will teach you something new. :D

Game development makes me happy when things work.

Game development makes me sad when things don't work.

Game development makes me mad when things used to work but stopped working.

Question for all those who see this!

What sound does a triangle make as it rolls?
January 30, 2025 at 6:01 AM
I think I've learned enough magical spells to teach a triangle how to roll.

Not only that, but I've also taught a stick how to do flips.

Have y'all ever tried to roll a triangle across the flat ground?

In case you didn't know, it's not easy.

Today, I realized it's been exactly one month since the release of Innocence. Soon here, I might start working on its sequel since I have a lot of ideas that I *should* start putting on the digital paper.
