A side benefit is that I feel more in control.
I used to know that I needed to drink alot to feel what I wanted to, and it would usually end in disaster as I would frequently overdo it. *cough*

For me, my tolerance used to be a lot higher. Once I took an extended break, I only need a couple to feel it.
Maybe you just need a long break and experiment once a few months have passed?
