Anyone hyped up for christmas even though it's still september?

Is there even any hope for art in the long term(commercially)? I know art will forever be part of the human condition, but what about the peeps who want live off of their art? Is it viable to start an art carrer nowadays? Honestly i'm so confused at our modern world.

Been looking at the "uprise" of AI in the past couple years. I've had countless bouts of existential dread overcome me while reading up on AI, which would later subside and get replaced with hopeless indifference and so i'm asking if anyone else has been stuck in this nasty loop?
