Exactly! It’s all just marketing and branding and history repeating itself 😎 Queers, 80s, and cowboys are a major “mainstream” trend the past 5-10 years.

I hear ya, but nah. That’s also by design - the gays (also me) come running when someone critiques her. I’m a business major - from a capitalist branding point she’s done great. But! Nothing she’s done is new and trendsetting (Madonna and Lady Gaga walked so she could run)

Last comment! There is a fine line of good costumey and bad costumey. You know, you know. Personally these lean towards bad costumey!

True true true on all that - I hear you now. I guess I’ll scratch that comment and just say I think the second look was super lack luster compared to past looks. I STILL think of that one SNL look. Gosh damn

I heeeear you, but I still think others matched the theme with the second looks - maybe just not as much with the first looks. I just truly think Chappell is a yt branding fad that will not withstand time. I see no originality in her.
