Usually for veterans day I'd honor my grandfather and Grandmother but I'm going to honor my Great Uncle (2x removed) Albert Kuali'i Brickwood Lyman this year.

My grandfather, Army Lieutenant D.W.D. fought in the Philippines soon after The Massacre at Manila. And let me fucking tell you, a "sucker" or "loser" was never a name he had earned. Quite the opposite, in fact.
